This Heavy Duty Suspension Kit is designed for Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 models from 2023 onwards that are regularly used for load carrying and towing. It raises the vehicle by approximately 50mm to improve ground clearance while enhancing stability and performance under constant load.

Product Overview

This first-level Heavy Duty kit is designed to address rear sag when towing or carrying loads, offering a noticeable improvement over the standard Ford Ranger suspension. It replaces the original components with matched heavy duty springs and Pedders TrakRyder Adjustable Foam Cell shocks.

The kit is intended to operate with a constant rear load of approximately 300kg, including accessories such as canopies and tow bars. For vehicles carrying heavier constant loads, an Extra Heavy Duty option should be considered.

Foam Cell Shock Technology

Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.

Installation & Compatibility

Ezifit Struts are supplied pre-assembled with shock, coil spring, new top mount, bump stop and protective boot. Simply bolt them in without the need for spring compressors or re-using worn parts. The rear springs and hardware are direct replacements for factory components. A professional wheel alignment is recommended after installation for optimum tyre wear and steering response.

This kit is suited to vehicles used for regular load carrying and towing rather than lightly laden daily driving.
